Descriere: Driver-ul VIA IDE Miniport este acum un legacy driver care a fost creat initial pentru cresterea performantei IDE ,precum si suportul furnizat de driver-ul initial Microsoft. Multe dintre aceste cresteri au fost incluse acum in Windows Service Packs,iar VIA IDE Miniport driver nu mai este cerut.
Acest driver va creste performanta IDE pe NT4 bazat pe sistemul de operare Microsoft (Win9X, NT4 & ME) dar utilizatorii ar trebui sa observe ca o data instalat, nu mai poate fi dezinstalat.
Driver-ul stabileste un rezultat compatibil cu VT82C686B South Bridge si Iomega ZIP 100/250 drives sub toate sistemele de operare Microsoft.

Descriere: Acest driver este doar un pachet beta. Nu are atestarea Microsoft. Nu este necesar pentru ca toate sistemele PC sa aiba driver-ul VIA IDE Acceleratorinstalat.
Acest driver repara urmatoarele probleme care erau vizibile in versiunea anterioara :
incompatibilitate cu Winamp
incompatibilitate cu Norton Ghost 9.0
driver-ele NEC DVD rom nu sunt gasite dupa instalare
Exista o problema cunoscuta a acestui beta driver daca este instalat atunci cand Miniport driver v3.20B este deja instalat in sistem.
Acest driver suporta doar Windows 2000, Windows XP si Windows Server 2003 . Sistemele Legacy Microsoft Operating nu sunt tolerate. Acest driver va creste performanta ATA hard drives si ATAPI devices (cum ar fi CD/DVD/combo drives etc). driver-ul poate fi folosit cu orice VIA chipset. Alte informatii se gasesc in fisierul Readme . Acest fisier este disponibil doar in acest pachet individual.
